Great British turn-off
I FEEL patronised and irritated by the fashion for comedians to lark around while presenting TV shows.
The Great British Sewing Bee, Bake Off and Pottery Throwdown are technically complex competitions involving a high level of skill.
They should be entertaining, but also treat contestants and audience as adults. Instead, they are fronted by presenters who are far better suited to children’s programmes.
For me, it’s the Great British turn-off.
