■SOUTHAMPTO­N defender Tino Livramento is expected to be sidelined for the rest of 2022 after suffering a serious knee injury against Brighton. Livramento, 19, will have surgery once the swelling has gone down. Scans have confirmed an ACL injury. The England Under 21 right back received oxygen and was carried off at Brighton on Sunday after twisting his leg awkwardly in a challenge with Enock Mwepu. ÷TOTTENHAM midfielder Oliver Skipp will miss the rest of the season after surgery on his long-term groin injury. The 21-year-old has not played since the 2-0 defeat by Chelsea in January but had returned to training this month in the hope of aiding Spurs’ top-four charge. ■JACOB RAMSEY has given Aston Villa a boost by signing a new five-year contract. The England Under 21 midfielder has scored six league goals this season and been tipped for a senior England call-up.
