Dress to impress

LURKING in my wardrobe (Mail) are my treasured 1960s denim jacket, jeans and hat covered with badges.

They include military ones,

Apollo moon shots patch badges and Russian and Chinese political pin badges. They are a reminder of the Swinging Sixties I lived through and enjoyed.

Surprisingly, they don’t fit any more. I think they may have shrunk . . .

TONY LEVY, Wednesfield, W. Mids. THE oldest item in my wardrobe is a simple, long black dress my mother bought me in 1957. Every time I wear it I receive compliments. I also have several Jean Muir dresses from 1977. They still look as good today as when I first wore them. Timeless classics that are a joy to wear.
