WHO do doctors think they are kidding when they whine about being overworked?

They had two years of not seeing patients and, even after the lockdowns ended, many continued to refuse to see patients face to face.

This is a disgrace and the Government must stamp down hard on it.

I fear the NHS faces being downgraded to a charity medical organisati­on along the lines of healthcare in the U.S., where only those who can afford to pay for private insurance are able to see doctors. JOHN BOWYER, Lincoln.

IF GPs want to reduce their opening hours, then cut their salaries to match.

No wonder A&E is being overwhelme­d by patients with minor ailments.

WITH GPs voting to close their doors at 5pm, we need to see a breakdown of what a GP does each day, including form filling and ticking boxes.

This would highlight a major problem in the NHS that needs to be changed urgently.
