■ AO WORLD fell after a third profit warning in six months.

The electrical appliances seller said more customers were cancelling warranties on products as inflation squeezed budgets, which could affect profits for 2022.

The Bolton firm is also wary of inflation, the rising cost of living and ‘logistical challenges’ in its supply chain.

Its results for the year to the end of March would be published six to eight weeks later than planned. Shares tumbled 13pc, or 11.4p, to 76p.
