Cristiano’s 18th of season helps United beat Brentford O’Sullivan’s seventh world title equals Hendry’s record

Ronaldo, 37, struck his 18th league goal of the season from the penalty spot to help Manchester United beat Brentford 3-0 at Old Trafford. And an emotional O’Sullivan, 46, beat Judd Trump 18-13 at the Crucible to win a seventh World Snooker Championship, equalling Stephen Hendry’s record and sealing his place as the sport’s greatest ever player.
