IF the protesters who wish to stop all oil use could think through the consequences, they would realise that within a month the country would be decimated.

there would be no tap water when purification plants cease to function and no food because there would be no delivery lorries to supermarkets.

H. B. LLOYD, Haverfordwest, Pembs. WhY don’t Just Stop oil protesters focus on the root of their perceived problem. Instead of glueing themselves to petrol pumps, which are at the end of the supply chain, why don’t they carry out protests in Russia and Saudi Arabia?
