THE double killer is serving a wholelife tariff after he killed 51-year-old children’s author Helen Bailey in 2016 and dumped her body in a cesspit at their Hertfordshire home. He was found guilty of her murder a year later. After his conviction, police probed the 2010 death of Stewart’s first wife, Diane Stewart, 47, and in February he was found guilty of her murder too. Her death was treated as epilepsy related until he murdered Miss Bailey. He is appealing the wholelife sentence.
