FORMER police officer Couzens, whose court sketch is pictured left, was handed a wholelife term last year for the rape and murder of 33-year-old Sarah Everard after he abducted her in south London on March 3, 2021. Her death sparked protests calling for changes to the Met. Couzens is appealing the term, saying the judge failed to take into account his remorse.
