Jealous Depp ‘accused Amber of affair then kicked her’
JoHNNY Depp became violent when jealous, ex-wife Amber Heard told a jury last night.
The actress claimed the Pirates of The Caribbean star would fly into rages as he accused her of flings with the likes of James Franco, Billy Bob Thornton, actor Eddie Redmayne and Hellraiser writer Clive Barker.
one of those flights of fury saw him once assault her on a private plane in front of his aides and security team, she alleged.

(£79.2million) libel trial she was kicked in the back and called a ‘slut’ when Depp learned she kissed Franco for a scene in 2015 movie The Adderall Diaries.
Depp said ‘disgusting’ things while throwing ice and utensils and was so drunk and high he had a ‘blackness in his eyes’, Heard told the court.
Afterwards he began ‘howling like an animal’ and locked himself in the bathroom, the jury was told as it was played a recording made by the actress.
The 2014 incident was one of a string of attacks the Aquaman actress described on a second day of emotional testimony to the court in Fairfax, Virginia.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, for $50million (£36.9million) over a 2018 opinion piece that she wrote in the Washington Post, saying she was a domestic abuse survivor.
She launched her own counter case for $100million after his team called her claims a ‘hoax’, with her claiming they orchestrated a smear campaign against her.
Heard told the court yesterday Depp’s jealousy towards Franco was a ‘nightmare’. Depp ‘hated, hated’ Franco even though she did not have an affair with him, she insisted.
Heard said: ‘He called me a gogetter, he called me a slut – this is happening with security and his assistants on the plane.
‘I struggle to be able to tell you how embarrassed I was.
‘He just kicked me in the back. I fell to the floor and felt like I was looking at the floor of the plane for a long time.
‘I felt to myself: I don’t know what to do. Did he just kick me?
‘No one said anything. You could hear a pin drop. You could feel the tension but no one did anything.’
Earlier Heard told the jury of a catalogue of abuse, including Depp calling her a ‘nagging b **** ’ in late 2013 in Tokyo for supposedly judging him about drinking alcohol in front of his children.
And another time, after he accused Heard of flirting with someone at the Met Gala in New York, he ‘just whacks me in the face, I suspected I had a broken nose,’ she testified.
She told the court how it was a ‘constant battle’ over what parts she could take and she was forbidden to do nudity or sex scenes.
When she asked to go to a concert with the crew of one movie, Depp told her in a text message: ‘You know very well what type of f ****** man I am… don’t test me,’ the court was told.
Later, Heard cried uncontrollably as she alleged how Depp sexually assaulted her with a bottle at their rented home in Australia while he filmed Pirates of the Caribbean 5. She told the court that after he accused her of sleeping with Redmayne while making The Danish Girl film the pair, drunk and on drugs, rowed.
She said: ‘At some point he’s on top of me, screaming I f ****** hate you, you ruined my f ****** life.
‘I’m on the countertop, he had me by the neck and was on top of me. I’m looking in his eyes and I don’t see him any more.
‘It wasn’t him, it was black. I haven’t been so scared in my life.
‘My head was bashing against the back of the bar and I couldn’t breathe. I remember trying to get up to tell him he was really hurting me. I couldn’t get through to him.’ Terrified that the bottle he was using to assault her was broken, she added: ‘I didn’t feel pain, I didn’t feel anything.’
In September 2013 Depp asked Heard to marry him, saying he wanted her to be his ‘girl forever’.
The actress said he refused a prenup and told her that the ‘only way out [of the relationship] is death’. Each time they fought, Depp would always be apologetic with the court being taken through emails he later sent.
one talked of him ‘once again finding myself in a place of shame and regret... I will never do it again... I want to get better for you.’ In another, he wrote: ‘I’m sorry... for my behaviour... I’m a f ****** savage... The Devil is All Around, right...??’
The jury was shown a photo of Depp passed out in a chair in 2013 at his home in Los Angeles where he had been on a cocaine and alcohol binge for several days with no food and hardly any sleep.
In another image Depp was passed out on his private island in the Bahamas, while a third showed him in a similar state in a Tokyo hotel room. The trial continues.
