■ SHARES in Helios Towers climbed after revenues for the first three months of this year rose more than a fifth compared with a year earlier.

In its trading update, the phone mast operator’s sales for the first quarter reached £103m – up from £84m in the same period in 2021.

The FTSE 250 operates masts that provide mobile signal in eight African countries and hailed success in three new markets – Senegal, Madagascar and Malawi. Shares rose 3.5pc, or 3.9p, to 114p.
