AT MY local surgery, all the staff are lovely and work extremely hard. There is a notice on the wall stating verbal abuse will not be tolerated — it shocks me this is even necessary. What is wrong with some people?
I am patient, polite and friendly when I contact the surgery, so receive the same courtesy.
every Christmas, I deliver a box of chocolates and thank-you card, which is always appreciated. Is it too much to ask other patients to follow my example?
