Changing High Street

-

IT’S hypocritical to enjoy the benefits of online and mobile banking and then complain when branches close. every job loss is a personal tragedy, but times change.

Remember when every High Street had an electricity and gas showroom, but they are no more. If a supermarket opens an out-of-town store with free parking, it’s not its fault if High Street shops close. DOUGLAS WILLMENT, Salisbury, Wilts.

I DON’T want to be treated like a robot either (Letters). Technology is ruining our High Streets and our love of shopping, together with the joy of human communication. DAVID HARVEY, Chippenham, Wilts.
