Tielemans lined up for Arsenal move

- By TOM COLLOMOSSE

ARSENAL’S pursuit of Youri Tielemans will likely hinge on whether they finish in the top four, with the Leicester midfielder keen to play Champions League football. Leicester are prepared to sell the Belgian, 25, as he has only one year left on his contract. After two good seasons, Tielemans’ form has been patchy this term but he remains an attractive prospect, especially as his contract situation is likely to lower the price. Arsenal have been watching him closely ahead of a potential summer move. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers reiterated his desire to make changes to his squad at the end of the campaign and the club will listen to offers for players including Caglar Soyuncu, Ayoze Perez, Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet, who is on loan at Torino. Rodgers said: ‘I said it needs a healthy shake-up which most clubs always do: keep your core players and add quality. We’ve got certain player profiles we need to improve the team. We don’t have masses of money but we want to bring in players who are offence-minded and aggressive and ready to adapt to how we want to work.’
