Russian bodies stacked in trains

-

THE bodies of dozens of fallen Russian soldiers have been left unclaimed in refrigerated trains because the Kremlin does not want them back, Ukrainian military leaders claimed last night.

Footage emerged of piles of Russian soldiers stacked in white body bags in a train on the outskirts of the capital yesterday. Some of the dead troops had pockets full of wedding rings and gold chains allegedly stolen from Ukrainian civilians.

Ukraine’s military said it had been forced to store the corpses after Putin’s botched attempt to capture Kyiv ended in a swift and humiliating retreat.

Kyiv claims Russia’s military has lost more than 26,000 troops in the war so far. However, the Kremlin puts the figure at around 3,000.
