Firth rips into Balenciaga ‘fashion’ trainers

-

ETHICAL fashion campaigner Livia Firth has put the boot into fashion house Balenciaga after it unveiled a £1,290 pair of trainers — which purposely come with holes, rips and scuff marks.

‘What is Balenciaga trying to say? Fashion is art, yes, and provocations have been many during its history. But what is the statement here?’
