Glasses that turn into a 200-inch TV

THEY look like a plain pair of sunglasses – but could mean you end up with a lot more space on your living room wall.

Like a gadget in a sci-fi film, these revolutionary ‘augmented reality’ (AR) glasses deliver images equivalent to watching a 201-inch full high-definition screen at a distance of 20ft away.

The ‘Nreal Air’ specs, which also boast an immersive 3D option and tiny in-built speakers and microphones, offer a cinema-style experience whether you’re in the garden or on the bus.

When combined with EE’s 5G network, the glasses – costing £399 or £35 a month when they go on sale on May 20 – allow the streaming of high-definition movies, television broadcasts or games via a mobile phone connection.
