Personal touch

NOT all organisations lack the personal touch.

My mum has suffered a catastrophic stroke and is receiving end-of-life care at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

The staff are incredible and I have been able to stay with Mum around the clock.

At the weekend, we were given permission to bring in Mum’s two beloved little dogs to say goodbye to her. Not only were they allowed to lie on her bed, but while I was walking down the corridor to her room, other poorly patients got great pleasure from petting them.
