AGUERO RETURNS TO SEE HIS CITY STATUE

SERGIO AGUERO will witness Manchester City unveiling a lasting tribute to his legacy today at the end of a week in which they finally secured his predecessor. A statue depicting the former striker scoring City’s most historic goal — his dramatic winner against QPR — will be revealed outside the Etihad Stadium. The pose will be Aguero’s celebration of scoring that goal and delivering the Premier League title in 2012. ‘To see myself 10 years ago is very moving,’ said Aguero. ‘I am grateful to the club for this recognition of my career.’
