ANTHONY McMANUS, 48

ANTHONY was a patient at chadwick lodge mental health services unit in Milton Keynes when it was operated by the Priory Group.

On December 8, 2015, he hanged himself. coroner Thomas Osborne concluded that a failure to carry out proper observation checks ‘may have caused or contributed to his death’.

The Priory paid the McManus family compensation following the inquest in 2016.
