ELIANA was studying biology at university and planned to become a hearing specialist working with children. But while being treated at the Priory hospital in Woking, she made numerous attempts to take her life.

In January last year she succeeded using a known ligature point in her room which should have been removed but wasn’t. her life support machine was switched off six weeks later, her inquest heard last week.
