EVELINA ALKSNE, 22

Evelina was a victim of a catalogue of errors when the recovery First hospital, Widnes, was run by the Priory. In 2015, soon after evelina arrived there, she killed herself using a bandage that staff had failed to identify as a risk. They did not act when alerted to her declining mental state and also failed to transfer all her medical history from a previous hospital. The inquest also revealed supervision levels for inexperienced staff was ‘unsatisfactory’.
