wedding dress designer Elizabeth Emanuel may be one step ahead of the fashion trends, but she admits she’s a creature of comfort when it comes to her hair extensions.

‘I don’t plan on changing my style,’ she tells me. ‘I don’t even know what hair I’ve got underneath it — I’ve got hair extensions on hair extensions.

‘When I don’t have my hair extensions on, I don’t go out. But as soon as I have them put in, I feel strong. It’s ridiculous how hair can have an effect on me.’
