Honestly, I only hunt balls of wool
AS AN indoor cat, I am disappointed to learn that my species is causing mayhem. I am fortunate not to be turfed outside at night — how cruel that is. The daylight hours bring perils such as dogs, cars and cat-nappers. I am an avid birdwatcher from my vantage point at the kitchen window, but have no desire to rush out and catch them because I am well fed. My favourite hobby is to hunt balls of wool, which I present to my human and am much praised. I am adept at chasing a laser light toy or catching a fly. Admittedly, I did once catch a mouse, but the remnants I left in the kitchen were unappreciated, so I haven’t repeated this. I became adept at removing my collar — the bell was particularly irritating — and certainly wouldn’t welcome a muzzle. POSSUM c/o HAZEL VANBERGEN,
