Oh, Miss Owen... what WILL daddy say?
Love Island’s back and soccer ace’s girl is already playing the field
HE admitted he was ‘sceptical’ about his daughter going on Love Island.
So ex-England footballer Michael Owen will no doubt have felt uneasy watching his daughter get matched with a student who admits his own mother would describe him as ‘a little s***’.
The ITV2 show returned last night and saw Gemma Owen, 19, paired with 22year-old student Liam Llewellyn. It was the first time the initial pairings were decided by the viewers as opposed to the contestants themselves. But the international dressage rider from Chester had only been coupled up with Llewellyn from Newport, South Wales, for just a few hours before she was locking lips with someone else.
Part-way through the episode, Italianborn Davide Sanclimenti entered the Majorcan villa as the first single bombshell. Miss Owen admitted to being ‘blown away’ by the 27-year-old’s arrival and was later seen kissing him in a game of dares. Shortly after, Miss Owen admitted to feeling guilty about the way she had treated Llewellyn.
Ahead of arriving in the villa, Llewellyn was asked how his family would describe him. He responded: ‘If you ask my mum, probably a little s***. No, I’m a good kid, she knows that.’ Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
