Seeking inspiration

WHAT politicians don’t seem to realise is that most people like leaders who inspire us, who make us feel good about ourselves and who set standards that encourage us to be better people.

This is why people from all cultures and walks of life joined in celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee.

She sets standards of service based on her Christian faith and respect for others. Best of all, she doesn’t endlessly look for things and people to criticise. Instead, she encourages us to be positive.

The BBC, politicians and the Church of england should realise that the Jubilee showed we are crying out for inspiration, which they are not providing.
