LADY MARY, DOCK STAR!
Gig debut with her Downton footman
SHE first showed off her musical credentials in a piano-side sing-along as Lady Mary in Downton Abbey.
Now Michelle Dockery has proved that she is quite the singer with a very different type of music. While her TV performance was with on-screen husband Dan Stevens, it was co-star Michael Fox who joined her this time on stage on Monday.
The actress, 40, and Fox, , who plays footman Andrew Parker, put on a stunning performance for their first live show as duo Michael and Michelle. The pair delighted fans as they sang and played guitar with a backing band at Omeara London. They released their debut EP, The Watching Silence, with Decca Records last month – six years after they started collaborating following the end of the ITV period drama. Both recently starred in the second Downton Abbey film, A New Era, which was released in April.
Fox has been in a relationship with Laura Carmichael, who plays Lady Mary’s sister, Lady Edith, since 2016. Their first son, Luca, was born last year.
