Wills had NO private time with Harry during Jubilee

Depth of their estrangement is fully exposed

- By Rebecca English Royal Editor

PRINCE William did not spend any private time with his brother over the Jubilee weekend, laying bare the full depth of their estrangement.

Aside from being in the same building at St Paul’s Cathedral for the Platinum Jubilee Thanksgiving service on Friday, the once-close brothers had no personal interaction whatsoever.

Nor did William and Kate’s children get to meet their cousins, Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet, it has been reported.

Kate, 40, and the youngsters did see Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex when they were in the same room at Trooping the Colour on Thursday – while William, 39, was out on parade – but it appears any time spent together was minimal.

And as the Daily Mail revealed last week, the Sussexes were not invited to a private lunch with the Queen at Buckingham Palace afterwards.

Yesterday the New York Post reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex invited William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Lilibet’s first birthday party at Frogmore Cottage on Saturday, but the family did not attend. They did, however, wish Lilibet a happy birthday on social media.

‘The Sussexes left without spending any solo time with William, Kate and the mini Cambridges – and their kids, Archie, three, and Lili, didn’t get to see their cousins,’ the newspaper claimed.

In fact the Cambridges were in Cardiff representing the Queen. They then travelled back to London to attend the Party at the Palace jubilee concert.

The Sussex family – who arrived in the UK on Wednesday afternoon – flew back to California on Sunday lunch time.

The fact that no efforts were made to squeeze in a meeting between the two families shows how deep the battle lines have been drawn.

One source told the Mail that William’s relationship with his brother was still ‘deeply fractured’ following his decision to quit as a working royal, hurling accusations from across the Atlantic, including the claim that he and Meghan had been the victims of racism.

The rest of the Royal Family are clearly wary. Sources confirmed reports that the Queen banned Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, from bringing a photographer to capture the moment she was introduced to her great-granddaughter on Thursday.

There were fears that any pictures could be released by the couple, who have spoken to US television networks about their family relationships.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment but sources have suggested the couple were told it was a ‘private family meeting’.
