■ BATHROOM and kitchen products maker Norcros surged after record results.

The firm reported a profit for the year to the end of March of £41.8m, up 24pc year-on-year while revenues jumped 22pc to £396m.

Norcros attributed the figures to ‘robust trading’ and ‘decisive action’ it took to offset rising costs and challenges in its supply chains.

It expected to continue outperforming despite uncertainty in the market. Shares rose 3.8pc, or 9p, to 249p.
