SPURS LEAD CHASE FOR £50m-RATED RICHARLISO­N

÷ EVERTON want more than £50million for Richarliso­n this summer — with Tottenham the club most interested in the 25-year-old Brazilian. The forward is open to leaving Goodison Park and Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen. However, sources have indicated that Tottenham are leading the chase. It comes as Everton’s Jonjoe Kenny is joining Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on a three-year deal. The 25-year-old right back rejected an offer of a new contract on Merseyside last week

in search of regular first-team football. Meanwhile, Tottenham defender Joe Rodon, who has been impressing for Wales, is a target for Nottingham Forest, newly promoted to the Premier League.

■ CHELSEA are challengin­g Real Madrid for highly-rated Chicago Fire goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina after Real’s bid was rejected. Chelsea hope an offer of £8m will land the 18-year-old, who last month turned down a senior call up to Poland’s national side and pledged his allegiance to USA. Chicago would like him to remain with them on loan initially as part of the deal. Chelsea target Presnel Kimpembe wants talks over his future at Paris Saint-Germain after the French club bid for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

■ JUVENTUS are increasing­ly confident of reaching an agreement with free agent Paul Pogba. Further meetings are scheduled with his lawyer Rafaela Pimenta this week.

■ MANCHESTER UNITED’S Nemanja Matic is expected to have a medical at Roma today ahead of signing a one-year contract with the option of another year. United are continuing positive talks with Frenkie de Jong as they try to reach an agreement on a fee with Barcelona.

■ LEEDS have held positive talks with German club Bayern Munich over a deal worth £10m for Spanish holding midfielder Marc Roca. Barcelona have agreed terms with the agent of Leeds winger Raphinha, but the Spanish club are still yet to meet Leeds’ asking price.

■ FULHAM have revived their deal for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon. The £5.9m transfer, agreed in April, looked to have collapsed but is now back on and the 22-year-old is hopeful of signing this week.
