The Hotel Inspector, 9pm, Ch5 ALEX POLIZZI (pictured) returns with more withering looks and stern words for struggling hoteliers — and you know we watch the show for her damning critiques every bit as much as for the makeovers and business turnarounds. Alex’s first stopover is in Loughborough in Leicestershire, at the Thaithemed spa and guest house run by married couple Hasmeeta and Bharat. She has a few choice words about the tatty, over-the-top decor and, while it’s been a struggle for the business to survive the pandemic, that’s no excuse for Alex, who orders a rebrand, facelift and management restructure in short order.
