Childhood of hatred

-

SHAMIMA BEGUM’S plight is the tip of an iceberg. There are more than 70,000 people in the al-Roj camp in Syria of whom 10,000 come from outside the Middle East.

There is no deradicalisation programme and the children are becoming young adults with an axe to grind against a world they have been taught to hate.

That is the dilemma facing the world when thousands of children are being brought up to see the West as the enemy.

If Shamima were allowed to come to Britain, the country of her birth, could any crime be laid against her in court?
