Peaty in race against time for Games

ADAM PEATY has cast further doubt over his participation at the Commonwealth Games as he recovers from a broken foot. The three-time Olympic champion will have a scan this week and is still in a protective boot ahead of a July 28 start in Birmingham. The 27-year-old told Sportsmail: ‘When I come out of the boot, I will have four and a half weeks — it is not a long time, but if anyone can do it I can. That isn’t being arrogant, I am just confident. I know I have the fitness.’
