Hoping for a gold record? Beyonce’s big comeback
GAZING sphinx-like at the camera, Beyonce looks resplendent in a gleaming embellished coat.
Pop’s golden girl let it be known in mysterious fashion yesterday that she is making a comeback after six years away from the limelight.
Her record label Columbia shared a cryptic message online reading ‘Beyonce, Renaissance, July 29’, suggesting a new album is on the way.
And then British Vogue confirmed the news with an interview and extravagant photo shoot with the mother-of-three.
In one image, Beyonce, 40, poses in a gold coat and planet earrings by surrealist couturier Schiaparelli. In another, she sits astride a Harley-Davidson, and on the cover she’s on a horse.
Beyonce’s last full-length solo release was Lemonade in 2016. It was the world’s best-selling album that year, with sales of 2.5million.
The July issue of British Vogue is available from June 21.
