JENNIFER Lopez performed a duet with her daughter on stage – and referred to Emme, 14, as ‘they’ and ‘them’.
Singer and actress JLo, 52, told the Los Angeles charity gala: ‘I ask them to sing with me all the time and they won’t – so this is a very special occasion.’ She added: ‘They’re my favourite duet partner of all time.’ Emme, who used a rainbow-coloured microphone, sang Born In The USA and JLo’s hit Let’s Get Loud. A proud Miss Lopez said: ‘Give it up for my baby!’ Fans praised her for ‘respecting the pronouns’, with one writing: ‘The best parents love and support their kids.’
