Try, try again

I WAS planning to join my New Age neighbours and lie down on the runway to stop the Rwanda deportations. It didn’t go well.

Extinction Rebellion blocked the new bypass, so we had to make a two-hour detour.

We finally got onto the motorway, but then couldn’t get off it because Insulate Britain had glued themselves to the slip road. We had to turn back and go home.

But like Home Secretary Priti Patel, we won’t be put off and will just have to try again.
