Please Scotland, don’t tear up our precious Union
WE ARE the most fortunate of people in that we live on the greatest little island in the world.
What achievements the United Kingdom has made with its people working together, from democracy to scientific and medical developments. We relied on each other through two World Wars.
That is why I am so sad Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon wants to tear apart the UK. If she gets her dream of Scottish independence, she will take her country to bankruptcy.
Europe doesn’t need another small nation looking for handouts. There isn’t enough money in grouse shoots or whisky sales to run Edinburgh, never mind a country.
This is my appeal to Scotland: we want you to stay with us.
