CRAVING something salty?

Instead of going for nuts again, diversify your plant intake and satisfy that craving with this easy, high-fibre and high-protein, whole-plant snack.

INGREDIENT­S

l 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained l 1 tbsp paprika l 1 tsp chilli flakes l 1 tsp salt l 1 garlic clove, minced l Squeeze of lemon juice l 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil

METHOD

PREHEAT the oven to 180c. Combine all the ingredient­s in a bowl so the chickpeas are well coated. Spread the mix out on a lined baking tray. Roast in the pre-heated oven for 25 minutes or until crispy. Let them cool for five minutes before tucking in.
