Summer surprise
AFtER the winter storms demolished my garden fence, i realised that fixing it meant a workman in big, heavy boots would be trampling all over my flower borders.
So while i was waiting for the fence to be replaced, i didn’t do my usual planting.
i’ve been richly rewarded with a beautiful display of
pink, purple and bright, shiny, red poppies, cornflowers and other colourful native flowers.
they have all just ‘happened’ without any intervention or effort by me. the bees love this floral display and so do i.
