Protect orchids
MOWING bee orchids growing on a verge (Letters) is typical of councils that pay lip service to conservation.
It seems small, but it’s the thin edge of the wedge when local authorites say one thing about protecting the environment, but do the opposite.

Apparently, it’s OK to mow them down!
