THINK of Netflix’s new series as SAS: Who Dares Wins for the snowflake generation, as spoiled youngsters are told they’re going to a fancy resort — but the truth is more . . . outdoorsy. The wannabe reality stars are shocked to find themselves at a survival retreat in the Lake District, with no running water — let alone Wi-Fi! There’ll soon be tears and tantrums, and while there’s comedy in watching them enduring their tough mountain lifestyle, there’s also some heart in watching them learn. There are two British snowflakes among this mostly American group of ‘clueless kidults’: 25-year-old Rae from Rochester and 21year-old Liam from Warwick. Rae seems to have a good sense of humour, which should serve her well — although self-confessed diva Liam (pictured) could be in for a rude awakening. After moving out of his mother’s house because she nagged him too much, he’s been living with his grandmother, and never lifts a finger to do any cooking or housework.
