Hay fever compress you keep in a fridge

-

AMELIA Mulley has suffered from hay fever for as long as she can remember.

The 36-year-old dog groomer explains: ‘My eyes become extremely puffy and itchy, which causes them to stream and turn blood-shot. ‘If the pollen count is very high or if I am around freshly cut grass in summer, I also experience sneezing and headaches.’

On a bad day, hay fever can stop her from going outside to enjoy the weather and quality time with friends and family. ‘I worry what I look like, too, as these symptoms heavily affect my appearance, knocking my confidence.’ Amelia (pictured right) says she has tried everything from antihistamines to creams and home remedies she had read about online. Some mellowed her symptoms, but nothing has worked instantly. More recently a friend recommended a cooling hay fever compress and Amelia says she now wouldn’t be without it. ‘After taking the compress straight from the fridge and placing the removable cover in cold water, I feel instant relief from my irritated and sore eyes. I keep the compress on for as long as I feel necessary, and after prolonged use it eases any headaches, too. ‘It also gives me a rare chance to sit back and relax for 20 minutes.

‘I can now go outdoors knowing that if I start to suffer with allergies, I have something at home Home remedy: Reusable cold eye compress brings cooling relief to hay fever sufferers that eases symptoms straight away.’

The reusable cold eye compress and washable cover provide cooling relief for itchy eyelids and the surrounding area, helping to reduce inflammation, swelling, headaches and the general discomfort of allergy and hay fever symptoms. It’s the perfect home remedy for burning, irritated eyes caused by allergies, so is ideal for the hay fever season. Store the compress in the fridge so that it’s ready for immediate use when needed.
