LEICESTER will head to their pre-season training camp in France without captain Kasper Schmeichel who has been given more time to rest after Denmark’s Nations League campaign last month.

The Foxes are keen to manage the workloads of their players carefully, with key men set to return to Premier

League action shortly after the World Cup ends in December. Leicester are seeking a long-term successor to Schmeichel (below). They are admirers of Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez but he may cost too much. Boubakary Soumare is likely to return to Ligue 1 on loan, with Monaco keen on the midfielder.
