Towie star ‘ broken’ as baby girl dies at just 2 days old
Reality tV star lauren Goodger has announced the tragic death of her ‘ healthy’ two- day- old daughter lorena.
the 35-year- old said she felt ‘ broken’ by the loss, which occurred on Friday.
She revealed that there had been ‘no pregnancy or labour complications’.
the former the Only Way is essex (towie) star, who also
has daughter larose, 11 months with partner Charles Drury, shared the news on instagram yesterday morning.
Posting a black and white picture of the newborn’s hand touching hers, Miss Goodger wrote: ‘lorena R.i.P. 08.07.22. She was the most beautiful healthy baby i’ve ever seen, just like her sister.
‘Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that i carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth to for my angel to be taken from me.
‘there were no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine and healthy, but i am not going into detail right now. Just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself. She was perfect. i can’t understand it... i am broken.’
Mr Drury commented: ‘She will always be with us.’
Miss Goodger was one of the original cast members of towie
in 2010. yesterday former costars and celebrity friends sent messages of support.
Former towie star Danielle armstrong wrote: ‘Oh darling, heartbroken for you, sending you strength and love and hope you get the respect and privacy you need to grieve.’
towie’s Frankie essex, who recently had twins, wrote: ‘Sending our love to you lauren and family.’
love island’s Malin andersson, who lost her month- old baby in 2019, said: ‘Sending you so much love, strength and positive energy.
‘Here if you ever need to talk. take your time.. you are so loved.’ Former Miss england and Miss Great Britain turned glamour model Danielle lloyd added: ‘am so sorry for your loss lauren.’
Miss Goodger became pregnant with lorena just eight weeks after giving birth to first daughter larose. in an instagram post under two weeks ago, she revealed that her pregnancy had left her emotional.
She wrote: ‘i’m waiting now for this baby girl to arrive, which i will shower with love, kindness, strength and all my time and affection, a mother’s love.
‘i don’t want to be anywhere else apart from with my baby girls. i can’t wait to have my baby girl in my arms. i’ve waited so long for her to arrive and to give larose the best gift, a baby sister for life.’
Only last week the star faced another tragedy when her former boyfriend Jake Mclean was killed in a car crash in turkey that has left towie star yazmin Oukhellou recovering in hospital.
Miss Oukhellou, 28, and Mr Mclean, 33, were in a car that veered off a cliff in Bodrum. emergency crews rushed to the scene but he could not be saved.
Mr Mclean and Miss Goodger reportedly began dating in 2012 and were in a relationship until 2016. She posted on instagram: ‘R.i.P. Jake, i have no
words right now.’
