■ NEWCASTLE are weighing up a bid for Leeds winger Jack Harrison. The 25-year-old is admired by Eddie Howe and would fit more comfortably into financial plans than a £60million bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby. Striker Callum Wilson could get a new contract but defender Ciaran Clark is in talks to join Sheffield United on loan.

÷ TOTTENHAM left back Sergio Reguilon has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including SEVILLA. The Spanish side are in talks to loan Sweden international Ludwig Augustinsson to ASTON VILLA and see Reguilon as an upgrade.

■ SOUTHAMPTON are keen on a move for Harry Winks, who along with Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of Tottenham’s tour to South Korea. Lo Celso may join VILLARREAL, where he was on loan last season.

÷ MANCHESTER UNITED are discussing a deal for free agent keeper Thomas Strakosha. The Albanian, 27, who left Lazio last month, has previously spoken to Fulham and Chelsea.

■ LIVERPOOL defender Neco Williams had a medical yesterday ahead of his £17m move to Nottingham Forest, who also confirmed the £9m signing of Omar Richards from Bayern Munich.
