DINA ASHER-SMITH’S career has been littered with near-misses and injuries... n 2014: At the European Championships, she pulls up with a hamstring injury in the 200m final. n 2016-17: Finishes fifth in the 200m at Rio Olympics, then breaks her foot in early 2017. n 2019: Claims historic 200m gold at Worlds in Doha... and wins silver medal in 100m. n 2021: Fancied for medals in both sprints at Tokyo Olympics but pulls hamstring just before and is eliminated in 100m semifinal then withdraws from 200m.
