BROJA BACK FROM USA TO SETTLE WEST HAM MOVE

- By SIMON JONES

■ CHELSEA striker Armando Broja has returned to England from the club’s US tour for treatment on a twisted ankle ahead of a proposed move to WEST HAM. Manager David Moyes hopes to bring the 20-year-old to West Ham after they made an improved £30million offer with a further £5m in add-ons. Chelsea’s preference was to send Broja out on loan again but the player and his representatives want regular football following his successful spell on loan at Southampton. Chelsea have discussed a potential sell-on clause or buy back option. Billy Gilmour (right) is also weighing up his next move after returning from the tour, with his club looking to put the Scotland midfielder on loan in the Premier League. STOKE want Chelsea’s 18-year-old Swedish winger Edwin Andersson.

■ CRYSTAL PALACE are in talks to sign Bayern Munich defender

Chris Richards. The 22-year-old USA centre back spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim and will be pushed further down the pecking order following the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.

Richards also had a fresh offer from Hoffenheim but is keen to join Palace if they can agree a fee. ■ AC MILAN have opened talks with TOTTENHAM to take Japhet Tanganga on a season loan. Sportsmail reported the Italians’ interest earlier this month along with Bournemouth.

■ FULHAM have made a bid to take BURNLEY winger Maxwel Cornet on an initial loan with the option of signing him permanently next summer. The offer exceeds one proposed by Everton last week with Fulham offering to pay Burnley more than his £17.5m buy-out clause should they stay up and a fee of around £5m now. Fulham missed out on Italy winger Federico Bernardeschi last week. They are continuing talks over a fee for Arsenal’s Bernd Leno.

■ ARSENAL are monitoring developments with Juventus midfielder Arthur, 25, who may be allowed to leave on loan.

■ LEEDS UNITED midfielder Jamie Shackleton is expected to finalise his loan to Millwall today. QPR have had another bid for Millwall right back Danny McNamara turned down.

■ BRIGHTON midfielder Taylor Richards is a target for QPR and Blackburn Rovers. EVERTON striker Nathan Broadhead is wanted at Sunderland.

■ RANGERS have rejected a £7million bid from Galatasaray for midfielder Glen Kamara. Marseille are also keen on the Finland international, 26. WINDOW
