Time to rethink

POLITICIANS are reading the British public wrong on Europe.

Many people now wish they had voted in 2016, just in case too many alehouse patriots had been mobilised to vote Leave. By a hair’s breadth, they had.

A lot of voters stampeded to become Irish.

Now all the large parties in England, and Edinburgh MSPs, are intimidated by the memory of Boris Johnson’s general election success in 2019. But the intoxication of that success has vanished and there is no need to be afraid.

Hold the European referendum again.
