THE SUPERVET: NOEL FITZPATRICK, 8PM, CH4

EVERYONE’S favourite vet is back, as we return to follow the work of Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his talented team at his unique veterinary specialist practice in Surrey. For 17 series now, Noel has been performing minor miracles on animal patients in need of the most complex and challenging treatment. This week, owners Alan and Jane hope Noel can give a new lease of life to their one-year-old shepherd doodle Raven, who has a debilitating joint complaint and might need a total hip replacement for both back legs. Three-month-old kitten Fury (pictured with Noel) is also brought to the practice having sustained a suspected broken leg during a particularly rough-and-tumble playtime with his sister, Stormy. Plus, Noel works his magic on Trigger, a two-year-old police dog with a genetic condition that’s been causing him excruciating lower back pain and preventing him from sniffing out crime. Hopefully, Noel will soon have Trigger back on the beat.
