NEVER DISPLAYED BEFORE

THE diamond-set Queen Mary Dorset Bow Brooch is a favourite of the Queen. Along with her grandmother’s bangles, each set with 39 diamonds, it has not been displayed in public before. The brooch was a gift from Dorset county to Queen Mary when she married King George V in 1893. She gave them to Elizabeth as a wedding present in 1947.
